Can you say “Bye, bye, hair horrors?” Japanese hair straightening stops the madness through a revolutionary process that reconditions unmanageable hair into sleek tresses that shimmer and shine even in wet humid weather. Salon Trendz offers this method to its clients, transforming the frizziest of tangles into smooth-textured hair that you can’t help but want to touch. |

Yes. Japanese hair straightening goes by many names, including “thermal reconditioning,” “Japanese iron straightening,” “Bio Ionic hair retexturing,” “thermal straightening,” “straight perm,” “Japanese straight perm” and “high-tech straight perm.” …So, it is very important that you communicate clearly when making a hair appointment and speaking to your hair technician. |

Whoa! Yes, yes and yes. If your hair already has a relaxer in it, you will not be able to receive the Japanese Hair Straightening process at this time. The two services are incompatible and can have very negative results if combined, including breakage. Talk to a Salon Trendz hair stylist about how long you will need to wait. |

Results do vary, depending on the tightness of your curls and the expertise of your hair technician. Here at Salon Trendz, we have a specialist, who has extensive experience with this treatment. She has given many clients dramatic results and a story to tell. If you think you want to give your unruly hair the heave-ho, schedule a consultation at the salon. The analysis is free. You can’t beat that! |

Most women are candidates for thermal straightening, including those with Asian, Middle Eastern, Norwegian, Caucasian and Latina-type hair. Unfortunately, textured African hair is fragile and does not do well with this process. However, women of mixed heritage may be able to withstand this treatment if their hair is stronger in nature. It is best to come in for a consultation if you have any questions about the suitability of this straightening method. |

You should set aside three to five hours to complete this process. Plan ahead and clear your schedule, so you can have a stress-free experience. You want it to be a fond farewell for those “frizzies” don’t you? |

Yes, in most cases you can add color after having your hair thermally straightened; however, the waiting time between the two processes may vary from client to client. |

Japanese hair straightening is relatively permanent. The process uses heat to restructure the bonds in your hair, so results are long-lasting. Depending on your rate of hair growth, hair type, and the tightness of your natural curl, you may need to touch-up new growth about every six to nine months. You also will need to be diligent about using the recommended after-care products specifically designed for women who have had this procedure. |

Well, let’s be honest. There is cost involved – both time and money. …But then, you have to consider the hours you spend every month doing battle with your hair. Normally, it takes “forever” to get your hair straight and sleek, and after all that toil, it’s only a short-term fix – especially if it rains! Doesn’t a hassle-free beauty routine sound good right about now? Uh-huh. That’s right. All that grief can be banished. Still hesitant about the cost of our services? Do some research. Check out other reputable salons and compare the value. We are confident that our offer is the best out there. It’s an investment, but with big returns!
On average, we will save you at least 20 minutes on styling every day. That’s 60 hours saved over a six-month period.
Ask yourself “What is my time worth?” …and “Wouldn’t effortless, silky-straight hair be a treat?” …You know the answer, and so do we. |

Well, we have a $599 special going on, but for a limited time. We use top-of-the-line products in our Japanese hair straightening, but the economy is changing. (Note that most other salons charge $800-$1,200 a pop.) Costs are going up, so we won’t be able to offer this lower rate for long.
If comparison shopping, be careful. Don't be fooled by cheaper prices. A low price elsewhere should raise some red flags regarding the quality of products used and/or the expertise of the stylist. Be sure any stylist you use has a long-standing track record in the industry and can verify past stellar results. Trust is everything.
